Searching For Water Activities In Australia

One of the things that many Australian travel visa holders like about the country is that it has lots of water. Indeed, the continent is surrounded by a vast ocean and there are several large river systems that criss cross it. And these are quite ideal for the multitude of water activities that are waiting for tourists.


Going to the beach is probably one of the most popular of all water related activities here. In fact, a lot of foreign and local tourists alike have come to associate Australia with the beach. And this, of course is not that surprising, with the country having more than 2000 kilometers of coastline.


Here, one of the most popular beaches in the country would be Bondi (pronounced as “Bond-Eye”) Beach located in Sydney. Situated neatly at the east of the the city, the beach has been a popular destination for foreign tourists arriving here, so expect meet a lot here. Near Bondi is another popular (and oddly named) beach, Manly, which is also frequented by visitors all year round.


But if you are heading for even more spectacular coastlines, then you might want to head up north to Queensland, the state is considered as the Sunshine capital of the country, which means that you have plenty of sunny days to explore the vast coastlines and beaches. Here, Surfer's Paradise in the Gold Coast is one of the popular destinations, not only for beach goers, but also for surfers (as the name implies). The waves here are actually pretty good so you will have a great time in riding them.


And surfing, it would definitely not a good one to get on a board if you don't know how to ride one. And for that one, you are also in luck, as there are a lot of surfing schools scattered along the coasts. But you might be surprised to find out that some of the best schools here are actually located down south. The Great Ocean Road in Victoria hosts some of these schools that you can visit to learn how to ride the waves.


If you are not that keen about the ocean, then Australia's rivers would probably be more to your liking. The Murray River in South Australia is one such good destination. The river's calm waters are ideal for a day of fishing with friends and family. Also there are ferries that cruise the whole length of it, if you want to see the many sights along its banks.

    Yes its fact that there are many beaches in Australia and the nice information is shared here but swim with the tuna port lincoln is the best water activity and memorable too.
